说这话的正是 Piper Jaffray 的分析师吉恩·芒斯特 (Gene Munster)。在过去几年中，他一直被看作是盯着苹果的愤怒的公牛之一。

「我认为 Windows 7 在未来几年中将是苹果最强劲的挑战······ 考虑到 Vista 的惨败，在某种程度上说，苹果几年来占尽了便宜。但现如今的 Windows 大不一样了。」 Windows 7 与雪豹的发行时间十分接近。尽管雪豹值得器重，但还不到惊天动地的程度。「假如雪豹能击出一记本垒打，那么微软就有大麻烦了。但它只攻到了一垒。29美元的价格承认了它自己算不上一次重大的升级。」

在他看来，最重要的是苹果的市场份额会继续增长，出于各种原因：苹果的营销能力，顶尖的产品以及围绕着 Mac OS、 iPhone OS 和 iTunes 拓展出的极富吸引力的生态系统。如果 Windows 7 不辱使命的话，苹果则不会如其所愿地吞噬市场份额。
