举行本次 Let’s Rock 特别媒体活动的欧巴布也那艺术中心（Yerba Buena Center for the Arts ）外已经挂起了巨幅宣传海报。

有传闻称，除了新的 iPod nano 、iPod touch 和 iTunes 8.0 之外，9 月 9 日苹果还将发布 iPhone OS 2.1 ，新增了一些还未公布的新功能。
